Strutta Crew Takes Rockband Act on Tour

It sounds like fiction, but the staff of Strutta is taking their "Rockband" act on tour.

"When we all played together at our Alpha launch party, I knew we had something," said Danny Robinson, Strutta CEO, de facto Band Manager and unofficial cowbell player. "The small crowd that gathered really seemed to dig us."

After competing in a local Rockband competition hosted by a music store, the gang knew they were ready to take their show on the road. Although they didn't win that particular contest, they were again happy with the crowd response, and started hitting the phones booking gigs. The Legions in Abbotsford and 100 Mile House, and bowling alleys in Cache Creek, Okanagan Falls and Horsefly, BC will be treated to the band's eclectic performance style.

In a controversy worthy of VH1's "Behind the Music," the group is already experiencing some turmoil. Lead guitarist Alexa Booth is threatening to split from the band to pursue her solo career playing Guitar Hero. At press time, she was still trying to locate a generator so she could grow an audience organically by busking on Vancouver's Water St.

"It was just time for me to embrace my inner rocker," said rhythm guitarist and Senior Developer Mike Holly, whose Rockband alter ego bears a striking resemblance to himself, except shaved bald and adorned with tribal war paint. "I finally feel like I can be ME."

The surprise move will delay production on Strutta by a little over a week, but the crew is confident that they will return from the road with plenty of good footage, and considerably more street cred. The first of many planned videos for the band can be viewed here.
