It's been a few weeks since we allowed our first wave of tester/users into the site, and since then the development team has been hard at work. They're tightening up loose ends, building new features and responding to "alpha user" feedback, making sure that the game is as fun as possible.
I sat Lyal down and put him in the hot seat for some questions about what's shaking:

would you guys mind not stealing vimeo.com's default video icon design? i'm sure you can come up with something more original and unique that people aren't going to accuse you of stealing.

What can I say, except: good call.
We recently noticed the obvious similarities between our logo and the Vimeo thumbnail. We're big fans of Vimeo's entire site design, but I assure you our designer wasn't aware of their use of that graphic when he bought it from a vector graphics site to build into our logo.
We're in the process of a redesign that will be both original and unique to us, and I really hope you'll keep reading and check out our "new look" site when we launch.
